The University has fourteen faculties which are linked in a consistent visual system to the University brand.

The University of Melbourne Faculty Logos should always be used as the key identifiers for the Faculties. The proportions or combination of elements must never be altered, rescaled or redrawn. Also, the wordstyle Faculty descriptions must never be typeset in an alternative typeface or rearranged. Reproduction is only permitted in variants as indicated below. If uses such as signage require other application or technique, please have your designs approved by the University Brand Manager prior to printing or manufacture.

Co-Branded Logos

The visual combination of the University of Melbourne logo and the second entity’s logo has to be controlled in a systematic manner across all Co-Branded relationships. The examples below demonstrate the visual system and how it applies.

If you are creating a new logo, please have your designs approved by the University Brand Manager prior to printing or manufacture.

The University of Melbourne Partner Logos are used in corporate communications when promoting the University’s association with the partner organisation.

Incorrect Use

Care should always be taken to avoid incorrect use of the logo. The University of Melbourne logo must be treated with respect at all times and its graphic integrity must always remain intact. This is vital in order to communicate a clear and consistent brand message.

The logo is supplied as master digital artwork and should never be distorted or altered in any way. Please be aware of incorrect use and use the examples below as a guide of some situations to avoid.
